Taking a Tour to Teacher's Cave,

Taking the tour and even some times getting lost in second life was another fun feature.

I was selecting different tours to teleport and I suddenly found my self in a place I had no Idea about, but a map helped me find more about it:

yeah ! It was not real. I had to click for information.

the cave entrance reminded me a wonderful cave I had visited in iran Called Ali-Sadr Cave,  I believe the person who made it had some good information about caves but he had to see that cave too! :)

Where am I!? The spiritual cave? What's that!

videos available all over , I could watch the dancing and speech by clicking on them. It wish I could enter those places too!

It's getting late.... My Computer is so Slow, I have to get out of here

I saw a waterfall next to the cave but ...NO...something was on the other side !

A Lab? .. Something like a science lab, but with some power-points on the wall aout different things, one of them was Musics, ....

My Legs were becoming invisible, after I checked my appearance I found it was because I had forgot to remove the boots from the Gladiator avatar I tried once, I took them off and I saw My legs then ! :))
I decided to take this tour again when I came to the UNI Lab, HEY, My computer is 3-4 times slower than this ! I like second life life this ! I can move faster and easier ! I believe it's because of the broad band connection, and probably the Mac system works better for this !
But what if I want to use it in a class and all students have no access to that ?!

This time I began From The Library

Some books had a link to learn about second life and using them in Education, and there where instructions on how to use different facilities there.

10-12 Computer systems in the left side of the library, powerpoint on the boards, and a good view!

I don't feel like to study here, I'd rather go and explore other places.
Getting out of the library I decided to teleport to the classroom, at the top of a hill...

 Wow ! Warm and comportable!

 I decided to explore some of the pages of the powerpoint on the wall

 Yeah! there are good learning opportunities for students to learn in this virtual world!

I spent some time there explore and read the powerpoint and I decided to go out, therefore I looked around but there was no door, instead there was shortcuts to different buildings there on the wall

It helped me teleport to where I liked, just like an elevator .

I didn't see something new in the lab, but the cool thing about this page was the avatars which didn't move so much and they were not representative of real people, I would like to know how some body made them  and left them there!

I decided to go back to the cave,

But I picked the other entrance and walked into the water...

IT WAS Fantastic! I saw different sea animals and plants and WOW ! IT WAS COOL, See:

I walked to the end of the cave and I saw myself on the edge...before I decide to take a picture I sliped and fell.....AAAAAAAAaa

But I am Alive Yet :)) Nice colors! I didn't know where I am, I just walked...

and I saw myself back to the lab, hidden behind that waterfall.

I get out of there and thought I will have to put at least 2 more weeks to read all those power points. I found it an interesting tour, I believe if we can make the same situation for students to explore they might like to watch and explore the slide more than the regular books.

Editing and Changing in SL (become Fashionabe)

We can edit our appearance in Second life easily by clinking on the bottom with the number 2 at the top of it and changing and selecting one of the prepared avatars available there, or we can edit and change our own avatar and save it. It took me about 3-4 hours trying all different part of it.  Not only changing the clothing, and the style they are, but also editing them and applying our own desired changes.

To change the wearing items or attach some more items we need to click to activate editing bottom as it has been shown on the picture above.

 The easiest way to change my appearance was to right click on my avatar and clicking on Edit my outfit. there are several other boxes there that we can select and apply our changes.I didn't like that hair ! and I Detached it, and it was shocking until I could change and change it until I came to something more reasonable.

 Not only the appearance and outfit, we can change the parts of a dress by clicking on it and selecting edit bottom. you can sew and design somehow! :))

 Making changes to the decoration and some parts are possible, by right clicking on the item, to select it and then edit bottom.

I really didn't like this shirt like that, I changed the shape of the skirt and shirt.

It was also Possible to change the texture,shape, loose/tightness, and color for the items we select to edit.
